The lightweight, durable frame of this little rig is paired with modern geometry and a medium gear ratio, equally adept at climbing and winding it up on the way down. The Hedgehog is confidence inspiring—you'll watch your child progress quickly, easily rolling over obstacles that once seemed all-too-daunting. This bike features hand brakes, just like an adult bicycle, but sized perfectly for little hands. The package comes together in kid-loved and parent-approved colors. Cleary recommends measuring your child's inseam and referencing their size chart to ensure the best fit.  Before your child can read, they can rip. The Hedgehog 16 inch kid's bike unlocks a whole new world to preschoolers. We paired a lightweight frame with modern geometry to a medium gear ratio equally adept at climbing and winding it up on the way down. Nothing on this bike distracts your preschooler from learning to flow on her bike. As kids ride farther over more varied terrain, they become comfortable enough to try some tricks. This confidence translates to independence, adventure, and endless possibilities. We designed the Hedgehog with a freewheel, allowing kids much more rideability than a coaster brake. It's a big detail, which is a game changer for kids and features hand brakes, just like an adult bike, but small, durable, and created with little hands in mind. The Hedgehog is light and strong at just 16 lbs. out of the box. It's also backed by a lifetime warranty against manufacturer's defects. When your trail boss is ready to step up from a 12 inch bike, the Hedgehog 16 inch kids bike will reliably propel your 3 to 5-year-old rider as they climb to new heights, launch jumps, drop stairs and maybe roll around standing on the top tube. Fit Hedgehog is best fit for riders with an inseam of 17" to 21". First time riders feel safest with their bottom on the saddle and their feet flat on the ground. That's how a child with an 18" inseam will fit the Hedgehog with the seat post dropped as low as possible. Once kids get more comfortable on two wheels, they'll want to sit on the saddle with the balls of their feet on the ground. Thus, a confident rider with a 17" inseam and a first-time rider with a 19" inseam will each ride with about the same seat height.

When your early-grade-school adventurer is ready for their first foray into the excitement of shifting, it starts with the Cleary Owl. Cleary built this bike around the drivetrain to take your explorer higher and further every time. Powered by an internally geared Sturmey Archer 3-speed hub that's activated by a buttery smooth Sturmey Archer trigger shifter. The Owl's shifting mechanism is encased in an aluminum shell inside the rear hub so it will shift smoothly with no maintenance for thousands of miles. Speed and acceleration are no problem with the 127mm alloy 3-piece cranks. Too fast too soon? The Owl stops on a dime thanks to the super-strong Tektro junior v-brakes. To determine the best fit, Cleary suggests measuring your child's inseam and referencing their size chart. The Owl is the best fit for riders with an inseam measurement of 19-23". A rider with a 21" inseam will sit on the Owl with their bottom on the saddle, flat-footed on the ground with the seat at its lowest position. At that same saddle height, riders with a 19" inseam will happily sit with only the balls of their feet on the ground. As long as a child has an inseam of 19", their arms and torso are long enough so they can reach the handlebars comfortably.

We've upgraded the frame on the Dice 20" with a full alloy 6061-T6 frame, making it one of the very first full alloy freestyle bikes ever made. Everything on this bike was picked to ensure that this bike has the right equipment to make those first steps in BMX as enjoyable as possible. The Dice has specific geometry making it perfectly suited for the younger rider. The frame uses a shorter 20" toptube paired with a shorter 13.2" chainstay. Featuring 25-9 gearing and tapered forks, the Dice is one entry-level machine that packs a serious punch for a lightweight contender.
